    thanks for a good description, now published in german monthly “Merkur”.

    German EEG (Subsidy-system for Wind&PV) with huge interest rates up to 100%, guaranteed by government, extra-costs of > 20 Billion Euro per year, seems a good example.

    But there seems to be a misunderstanding. Electricity from windmills pp is never “green” as such. Look into mining, upgrading minerals to metals, transportation and more of all that copper, iron, bauxit, rare earth, balsa wood (look ar Economist 31.01.2021), biodiversity and end of species and so on for the climate-gas footstep of windmills before producing electricity. Making transparent all the negative impact of emissions pp. by winning the raw-materials before there is nothing green if producing electricity by windmills. Best result would be neutrality, means to save climate-gas by pruducing electricity as much as emitted by production before as described above.
